SAVE $30: As of Oct. 12, the Google Nest Thermostat(opens in a new tab) has dropped in price during Amazon's Prime Early Access sale — save $30 while the deal is live (just $99.98, usually $129.99).

Amazon's Prime Early Access Sale has officially begun (even though a lot of deals started going live last week), and the discounts are already too good to pass up.

Case in point, the Google Nest Thermostat(opens in a new tab) is on sale for $30 off during the event. (That's not the all-time low price we saw during the first day of the sale, but it's still a pretty great price.)

You can snag one in Charcoal at just $99.98, which is $30 off the usual $129.99 price tag.

Note that the Learning version of the Google Nest Thermostat has hit an all-time low price — save $50.98 off the usual price(opens in a new tab) while the deal lasts.

Google's popular programmable thermostat not only helps you keep your home comfortable year-round, it'll also all save you (and the Earth) precious energy. Whenever you leave your abode, the Nest will turn itself down to Eco Temperature and shave a few bucks off your energy bill as a nice bonus. Using the device's companion app, you can create an energy-efficient temperature schedule that's tailored to your daily life. And of course, you can connect to it your Google Home if you want to get all fancy and use voice controls.
