Korean drama series Big Bet is coming to Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ globally, and the trailer promises quite the action-packed ride.

As the title suggests, The Outlaws director Kang Yoon-Sung's show has a lot to do with casinos and life gambles.

It's the tale of Cha Moosik (played by legendary Oldboy actor Choi Min-sik), a former English teacher and casino bar manager who flees to the Philippines to avoid South Korea's National Tax Service — he's been using some less-than-legal underground gambling contacts. In the Philippines, he struggles to build his casino business, but his life as a mogul plummets when he's investigated for murder, and tracked by detective Oh Seunghoon (played by The Roundup star Son Suk-ku).

Plus Squid Game's Heo Sung-tae and Extreme Job star/MSG Wannabe supergroup member Lee Dong-hwi stars, so this cast is looking pretty solid.

Betrayal, violence, and corruption are afoot! And a second season has already been commissioned, so we're in for a treat.

Big Bet is streaming on Hulu in the U.S.(opens in a new tab) and Disney+ globally(opens in a new tab) from Dec. 21.
