Who's ready to live in a Barbie world? Well, after the first teaser for Greta Gerwig's upcoming Barbie, I can certainly say that I am.

The trailer opens with an unexpected homage to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Young girls play with baby dolls in a desert landscape. Then, they spy something miraculous. No, it's not a black monolith in the vein of 2001. Instead, it's the stunning Barbie (Margot Robbie) herself, resplendent in a black and white swimsuit. The girls immediately abandon their dolls in favor of this discovery, ushering in a new era of bubblegum pink, fashionable goodness.

From there, we get quick flashes of Barbie's home, Ken (Ryan Gosling) and his friends, and what looks like not one, but two dance numbers. A Barbie musical? Sign me up. After watching this trailer, there's really only one thing to say (or sing): Come on Barbie, let's go party! (Ah, ah, ah, yeah.)

Barbie is in theaters July 21.
